Premium Subscription

Pocket GPS Premium is available through the App Store as monthly and annual auto-renewable subscriptions. The price, currency, and billing period shown on the subscription screen come from the App Store.

Free and Premium plans

FeatureFreePremium
Save and import recordsUp to 3 of each typeUnlimited
Export data and share data packagesNot availableAvailable
Enable iCloud syncNot availableAvailable
Create live-sharing groupsOnce per day, 6 hours onlyUnlimited, up to 30 days

The free record limit is counted separately for point markings, distance measurements, area measurements, altimeter records, speedometer records, and track recordings. Editing an existing record does not consume another slot. When an imported file contains more records than the available allowance, the app imports what fits and reports how many records were imported and skipped. See Data, Import & Export.

Joining a live-sharing group, creating a Web viewing link, and viewing live locations on the Web are available on both plans.

Subscribe

  1. Open More, then tap Pocket GPS Premium.
  2. Choose the monthly or annual plan.
  3. Review the App Store price and renewal information, then tap Subscribe and complete the system purchase flow.

The app also offers a shortcut to the subscription screen when you try to export, enable iCloud sync, or exceed a free allowance. After a purchase, Pocket GPS verifies the App Store entitlement and refreshes your membership status.

Compare benefits

Open More → Pocket GPS Premium → View Benefits to compare the Free and Premium plans in the app.

Restore purchases

If you previously subscribed but the app does not show an active entitlement, tap Restore Purchases on the subscription screen. Make sure the device is signed in with the Apple Account used for the purchase and that it has a network connection.

Restoring checks for a currently active subscription and does not charge you again. If the App Store cannot find one, the app displays a message explaining that no active subscription was found.

Manage or cancel

Subscriptions are managed and renewed by the App Store. Tap Manage Subscription on the subscription screen to open Apple’s subscription management page. After cancellation, Premium access normally remains available until the end of the current paid period; use the date shown by the App Store as the authoritative date.

When Premium expires:

  • Existing records are not deleted or hidden and can still be edited.
  • If a record type is above the free limit, you must reduce it below the limit or resubscribe before creating another record of that type.
  • iCloud sync that was already enabled is not turned off automatically. If you turn it off, enabling it again requires an active Premium subscription.
